Painted Kitchen Remodel

This was such a fun project for both me and the home owner. After waiting almost 10 years, she finally got up the courage to completely gut and remodel her kitchen and boy did it need it! With the entire house covered in tongue and grove cedar, including walls and ceilings I knew wood cabinets were not an option. Quickly coming up with an off white color we decided to stick with a monochromatic design using off whites and creams for the cabinets and counter-tops, then adding a splash of color in flooring and backsplash. With a lot of her current decor being southwestern I used a wide frame door style and natural products to keep the design of the home flowing. After a month of putting up with washing dishes in the bathroom and plenty of construction dust she was left with an amazingly beautiful kitchen.
